Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Blondies

These Whole Wheat Peanut Butter Blondies are a wholesome, delicious treat made with nutty peanut butter and hearty whole wheat flour for a perfect balance of flavor and texture.
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil melted
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar or loosely-packed light
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Farmer Direct Foods Whole White Wheat Flour spoon & leveled
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 cup peanuts
  • 1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips or dark
  • 1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips or dark
  • 1 tsp. creamy peanut butter
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Lightly grease the lined pan with cooking spray.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and light brown sugar until well combined. Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  • Add peanut butter to the wet ingredients and mix until completely smooth.
  • Stir in salt and flour gradually, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
