  • 1 1/2 cups Farmer Direct Foods Whole White Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add egg and beat until smooth.
